Defining the Enemy — Islamic Terror

Fight them; Allah will torture them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the chests of a believing people. He will remove the rage from their hearts. Allah turns to anyone he wills. Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. (Qur’an 9:14).

You know, I’m getting sick and tired listening to leaders from both sides of the political spectrum try and blow sunshine up our collective posteriors when it comes to Islamic terrorism. Just as I have predicted all along, there’s not going to be any “moderate” Free Syrian Army. For all the radical leftists out there who have deluded their minds into believing Zuccotti-style democracy is going to take hold in places like Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen and Syria … well, they need to extricate themselves from the very murky, dark place in which they find themselves so firmly and perpetually ensconced.

Churchill’s words are about as politically incorrect as you can get these days. That’s why the truth they contain hits hard. Islam is a theo-political movement of conquest, period. It always has been, and always will be, “until the faith of Islam ceases to be a great power among men.”

And herein lies the problem, in my opinion: the whole notion of a “war on terror” misses the mark. What we are talking about is a “war on Islamic terrorism.” If one cannot define the enemy, then one does not know thine enemy. If one does not know thine enemy, then one cannot defeat the enemy.

I realize there are Muslims who could be described as “moderate” or “peaceful.” But, quite frankly, their silence is deafening regarding the astonishing brutality exhibited by terrorist organizations like al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, Boko Harem, al-Shabab, Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), Lions of Tahwid, and plethora of like-minded Islamic terrorist groups waging “jihad against the infidel” across the globe today.

It’s not that terrorist groups like al-Qaeda et al. have hijacked the religion of Islam–quite the opposite. Islamic terrorists see themselves as true fundamentalists who are faithfully carrying out the commands Allah and his prophet–specifically, to wage war against the unbelievers–the infidels. There is no greater accomplishment, according to the Koran, than to die the death of a martyr in jihad against the infidel. When Osama Bin Laden said that Americans love life while Muslims love death, it is in reference to the Koran’s promise of paradise for the martyr.

Recently the al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra Front terrorist group attacked the ancient Christian village of Maaloula, Syria. Maaloula is the only place on earth where the ancient language of Aramaic–the language of Jesus Christ–is still spoken.

Below is a video of the suicide attack at the checkpoint to Maaloula and the corresponding raid of the town produced by the terrorists themselves:

Excerpt from the YouTube description:

The invasion of the town was carried out by means of a suicide bomber with the alias of Abu Musaab, whose accent in Arabic indicates that he is most likely from Saudi Arabia, and who blew himself up at the checkpoint situated at the ancient town’s main gate. The rhetoric of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, as seen from this footage, reveals how their Saudi Wahhabi doctrine ingrains in them a deep hatred of anything that does not conform to their strict and narrow-minded way of life.

The Jabhat al-Nusra field commander describes the attack on Maaloula as having three main goals (quoted verbatim from the video, emphasis mine):

The first and most important goal is the greatest objective for which Allah has made us present for on this earth and it is to fulfill the meaning of slavery to Allah (swt), where he has commanded us his saying:

{O you who believe! Fight those of the infidels who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.}

And his saying (swt):

{Why should you not fight in Allah’s cause and for those oppressed men, women, and children who cry out, “Lord, rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors! By your grace, give us a protector and give us a helper!”?}

The major objective and the greatest and loftiest goal is to fulfill slavery to Allah (swt), where we shall abuse/mutilate these criminal infidels and their helpers wherever we find them or encounter them, as Allah (swt) has commanded us.

Islam is no mere religion; it is an entire society where politics and religion are one and the same; it reigns supreme above all religions and governments, according to Islam–Islamic supremacy. The Islamic fundamentalist sees the world in starkly simple terms–Dar al Harb (the part of the world at war with Islam, infidel nations) and Dar al Islam (the part of the world under the dominance of Islam). Anyone who does not bow down and submit to Islam–the kaffir–is worthy of death.

As far as Islamic terrorists are concerned, Allah has commanded them to slaughter, torture, mutilate, rape, exile, imprison, enslave, abuse and murder those who refuse to bow down to Allah and his prophet. The infidel is considered worse than an animal to the strict adherents of Islam.

But often times all of this severity, starkness and brutality can have a tendency to turn in on itself. If one’s only hope is to die a martyr’s death in Jihad against the infidel, then maybe one will become all too eager to make anyone a so-called infidel–a death cult. If all one does is hone and practice the art of killing and slaughter, then what will happen when they take power? Will they bring peace? Will they keep the peace? Or is it logical to assume the killing and slaughter will continue? Besides, it’s all the terrorist knows–slaughter. Why wouldn’t it continue?

We saw bloody examples of this sort of brutality against one’s own in Iraq. The hatred butchers like Musab al-Zarqawi exhibited for Iraqi Shi’a Muslims was off the charts. Of course, the struggle between Sunni and Shi’a is nothing new to Islam. But it was quite a shock to many Americans to see such vehement hostility erupt between Muslims. Zarqawi seemed to despise the Shi’a more than he did the Americans–Muslims killing Muslims. The whole birth of the Iraqi “Enlightenment Councils” that arose in the violent Sunni Triangle was in response to the incredible barbarism of terrorist groups like al-Qaeda in Iraq and Ansar al-Sunnah.

The Obama Administration claims they know who the good guys are in the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA). The problem is the FSA, for all intents and purposes, has been swallowed up by a potpourri of Islamic terrorist organizations.

But now some of the “extremist elements” like Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) are not absorbing the FSA into their ranks, they’re killing them instead.

The Wall Street Journal reported in a report titled “Rebel-on-Rebel Violence Seizes Syria”:

An al Qaeda spinoff operating near Aleppo, Syria’s largest city, last week began a new battle campaign it dubbed “Expunging Filth.”

The target wasn’t their avowed enemy, the Syrian government. Instead, it was their nominal ally, the U.S.-backed Free Syrian Army.

The letter below (read more here) was issued by ISIS–the Al Qaeda affiliate in Syria–and vows to preemptively uproot McCain’s “poodles” (FSA) from Syria–specifically referring to its battles in Azaz, Aleppo, against the Free Syrian Army’s group, Asifat al Shamal (Northern Storm).

FARS News Agency reported:

Terrorists from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) on Wednesday stormed the town of Azaz, 5km from the Syrian-Turkish border, and killed at least five FSA militants, the Syrian opposition said, adding that 100 people were taken captive, Al-Alam reported.

Islamic Invitation Turkey reported a clash in Azez, Syria, between FSA and Al-Qaeda left 490 terrorists dead and 745 wounded:

According to the Akhbaria source terrorists in Azez region (10 km to Turkey) FSA terrorists and Al- Qaeda terrorists clashed and 490 terrorists got killed and 745 terrorists wounded in this clash. It is said that the region is under control of Al- Qaeda now.

Terrorists have turned their guns on each other in the border city of Azaz, as fault lines between moderate Western-backed rebels and extremist groups descends into open conflict.

Heavy clashes were reported in and around the city between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and fighters with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) – an off-shoot of al-Qai’da.

The FARS News Agency reported terrorists of the Al-Qaeda-Affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) beheaded 40 FSA armed rebels in the Al-Ba’ab region of Eastern Aleppo last Saturday.

Amazingly, Arab News reported Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS turned their guns on each other and clashed in Syria’s northeastern Hasakeh province, with one group seizing the local headquarters of the other, according to a Syrian NGO.

So much for the FSA “moderates.”
