Once again, the self-loathing Chris Matthews reiterates the progressive meme that only whites can be racist. It’s hard to believe anybody who has lived on the this planet for any time at all could buy into such nonsense. But racism is a bread-and-butter issue for the so-called progressive left; it’s their favored weapon for bludgeoning their political foes.
Matthews took extreme exception to comments by Rush Limbaugh in response to the racist tirade by Rev. Luis Leon during an Easter service that Obama attended:
“It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back … for blacks to be back in the back of the bus … for women to be back in the kitchen … for immigrants to be back on their side of the border.”
Limbaugh simply asked whether the racist views of Rev. Leon were inspired, in fact, by Obama himself. Matthews displayed his usual form of spitting moralism in protest:
“Get your definitions straight, Rushbo! Racism is the exclusive province of whites. Isn’t it fun to be so much smarter and more sophisticated than those ignorant knuckle-draggers on the Right, audience?”
Racism is the sole domain of the white race? Is that really the definition of racism?
Merriam-Webster: Racism – noun – 1: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. 2 : racial prejudice or discrimination.
Huh. Merriam Webster’s definition does not confine the term racism exclusively to one race of people. Apparently Matthews’ progressive dictionary provides a completely different definition.
So, is racism really confined to whites only? Recently, a white citizen sent a pro-Second Amendment email to Rep. Joseph Mitchell (D-Mobile).
Here is Mitchell’s response:
It’s not only whites who are in the cross-hairs with some progressive liberal blacks. Marion Barry stated not too long ago:
“We’ve got to do something about these Asians coming in, opening up businesses, those dirty shops. They ought to go, I’ll just say that right now, you know.”
And who can forget this New Black Panther Party member railing about his desire to “kill cracker babies”?
Recently, we’ve heard about a number of flash mobs directing their rage exclusively at white people:
It didn’t take me long to find numerous examples of intolerance directed at whites by racist blacks. As a matter of fact, it’s plastered all over the internet.
Via the National Black Foot Soldier Network:
“White women are, by far, the most vehement, materialistic, and avaricious creatures on this planet. When white women go out into the sun, their skin color adopts an abhorrent pink shade aquired [sic] by letting meat rot out into the sun; so they must constantly spend money going to the tan to get a beautiful, light-brown tones like people of color,” says Yakub Muslim condemnation minister Malachi Nigaros.
Back in March of 2012, there was a very disturbing incident of a 13 year-old boy who was set on fire in a racially motivated attack:
The Blaze reported:
Police in Kansas City are investigating a possible hate crime after a 13-year-old boy was doused in gasoline and set on fire. According to Allen Goin’s mother, the attack occurred just as her son was getting home from school. She said, “They rushed him on the porch as he tried to get the door open…one of them poured gasoline, then flicked the Bic and said, ‘This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve white boy.’”
I’ve had my own experiences with this nonsense. I attended a high school where the majority of students were black—over 60 percent black. I recall one incident where I was walking down the hall to class and one black individual, who had always had it in for me, got in my face with a flurry of taunts: “Look at the little white mother f*cker … look at little whitey … what you doin’ here, little whiteboy motherf*cker?”
Well, let’s just say, I had my fill of this particular individual and a very ugly torrent of expletives and epithets ensued between us. I had resigned myself to a severe ass whomping, because the guy was a full head taller than me and was known for throwing down on a dime. But, much to my amazement, one of his crew looked at him and said, “Damn, Willy, you ’bout ready to get your ass kicked.” Like I said, at the time, I don’t think I would have come out on top of a physical altercation with the guy. But I had had it.
Interestingly, following our “encounter,” I became friends with some of his friends. Apparently they respected the fact that I stood up to this guy without backing down. Now, Willy and I never became friends. But Willy never gave me a hard time again.
Now, did this incident make me hate all the black students in the school? Do I now condemn all black people as racists? Of course not! I didn’t blame all blacks for the rantings of one vile individual. I had plenty of black friends at school; it didn’t change our relationship in any way. And to be fair, many of the blacks I went to school with had their own tales of racism directed at them by whites and others.
The whole point I’m making here is no one group has a monopoly on hatred. And isn’t that what racism really is? Hatred? Hate for the sake of hate … hate based on nothing more than the color of one’s skin? Does it really matter if the hate is a white directing at a black person, or vice versa? It all sucks and most know it.
To demonize and accuse any group of people for the trespasses and crimes of some its members is blind, unadulterated hatred. The dehumanizing and marginalizing of entire groups of people has led to monstrous crimes against humanity in the past. I think the term Holocaust should tell us all we need to know about what can happen when those in power decide to demonize and dehumanize an entire race or group of people.
The only thing Chris Matthews is accomplishing with his progressive notion of racism being the sole domain of white people is to drive the wedge ever deeper and deeper between the races. Matthews refuses to acknowledge hatred is a two-way street. He ignores reality and the hard, cold truth. Spittle McTingles needs to take a long look in the mirror and ask himself about his own self-loathing hatred and what benefit society gains by purposefully fomenting divisions between the races simply for political gain. It’s a no-win scenario for all those involved. And, quite frankly, it is loathsome and unconscionable.
I was always taught that when you point the finger at someone else there are a hundred pointing back out you. In Matthews’ case, I suspect it is a lot more than a hundred.
