Sociogenics or ‘Constitutional Eugenics’ – Same Thing

“To live is to think.”
- Marcus Tullius Cicero

Opinion by AAABTonto:

I recently wrote an article entitled Serial Sociology: History of the Future in which I explained that the Progressive Left’s serial social engineering was a deliberate effort to create a populace whose understanding is limited and whose needs are solely provided for by the government. They are well on their way in creating it with their revisionist history and their obfuscation of the law and blurred definitions of the written word. Progressives consider the past illegitimate–it is the abolition of wisdom. Your knowing the past is inconvenient for them. Shortly after writing Serial Sociology: History of the Future, I came across the following video in which Charles R. Kesler explains my contention with deft clarity, only the term he used is “Constitutional Eugenics” as opposed to my coined term “Sociogenics.”

William F. Buckley, Jr., after graduating from Yale the year before, published his first book, God & Man at Yale in 1951. In the preface, he described two principles that he had brought with him to Yale:

“I had always been taught, and experience had fortified the teachings, that an active faith in God and a rigid adherence to Christian principles are the most powerful influences toward the good life. I also believed, with only a scanty knowledge of economics, that free enterprise and limited government had served this country well and would probably continue to do so in the future.”

Yale was and is openly antagonistic to those two ideas. Indeed the whole of the Progressive Movement is dedicated to destroying that mindset. Nathan Harden explains this story in a recent piece he wrote for Imprimis, entitled Man, Sex, God, and Yale. Academe is openly devolving our culture, eradicating wisdom and morality with moral relativism—the concept that implies that one truth is no more significant than another.

“True glory takes root, and even spreads; all false pretences, like flowers, fall to the ground; nor can any counterfeit last long.”
- Marcus Tullius Cicero

Obama is a statist; he is advancing a ideological fantasy. He never governs because he is always battling the circumstance that got us here … namely, George Bush, and Ronald Reagan. Obama is responsible for nothing as everything is always the fault of Republicans, conservatives or the Christian Right.

Liberal Hypocrisy

(Note: these videos may be pre-election 2012, but they are still relevant.)

People around the world whose lives are oppressed in unimaginable ways are willing to risk their lives in an effort to come to America. These people cannot speak their mind freely, they cannot choose for themselves in even the most simple of decisions. They cannot worship the God of their choice and they cannot defend themselves from their own governments. They yearn for freedom and that hope resides in America. Thanks to our Constitution and our Founding Fathers, who recognized inalienable rights are descended from God and gave us the concept of “liberty”, a right we are privileged (and obligated) to defend— yet we are allowing a self-serving liar like Barack Hussein Obama to take that right away. A right with Christian origins, but not “theocratic-ally” imposed. Ironically, the only religion Obama seems to support is Islam, which decrees that all other religions are invalid and again, we are faced with another supremacist group that insists on imposing their will upon us. Rights must be defended, because there is always someone willing to take them away from you.

“As a man is said to have a right to his property, he may be equally said to have a property in his rights. Where an excess of power prevails, property of no sort is duly respected. No man is safe in his opinions, his person, his faculties, or his possessions.”
- James Madison, National Gazette essay, March 27, 1792

Why We Need to Change Our Flawed Approach to Educating America’s Children (Video)

The government has no business telling us we can’t burn coal to provide electricity. The government has no business telling us what light bulbs we can use in our homes. The government has no business telling us what doctors we can go to, what treatments we can receive, what foods we can eat, what plants we can grow, what guns we can own or what we can teach our children! For God’s sake they want to decide which flavor of gum we should be chewing! Where in the hell does it stop? Most importantly, the government has no business telling us which components of the Bill of Rights are valid and which ones we are entitled to–those have already been determined!

“They are not to do anything they please to provide for the general welfare … Giving a distinct and independent power to do any act they please which may be good for the Union, would render all the preceding and subsequent enumerations of power completely useless. It would reduce the whole instrument to a single phrase, that of instituting a Congress with power to do whatever would be for the good of the United States; and as they sole judges of the good or evil, it would be also a power to do whatever evil they please.”
- Thomas Jefferson

“If you pursue good with labor, the labor passes away but the good remains; if you pursue evil with pleasure, the pleasure passes away and the evil remains.”
- Marcus Tullius Cicero

The federal government is out of control and Progressives are out of their minds. The Constitution has been breached and with it our sovereignty.
