A meteor has crashed in central Russia’s Ural mountains, injuring hundreds of people as the shockwave blew out windows and rocked buildings. A large fragment is believed to have landed in a lake near Chebarkul, a town in the neighbouring Chelyabinsk region. These Chelyabinsk residents recalled the moment the fireball streaked by.
