Well, I’d be lying if didn’t say that I’m utterly demoralized right now. Apparently greed won last night. There are apparently more people who like to receive free stuff from people who produce stuff, than to actually produce stuff and experience true freedom and true prosperity.
The late, great Andrew Breitbart said it best, as far as I’m concerned, when he eloquently stated, “If you can’t sell freedom, you suck!”
Come to find out a number of so-called Republicans did not vote yesterday. I can’t even begin to tell you how disgusted I am to hear that. I stated a while back on Twitter that if the Republicans lose this election I would be done with the Republicans. The Republicans seem to want to play “nice” with the dems, yet are more than happy to eat their own. So, what good are they?
Additionally, my favorite representative in the House, Allen West, lost a very tight race in Florida last night … Scott Brown was defeated by faux Native American Elizabeth Warren … Mia Love lost her race in Utah … Claire McCaskill defeated Todd Akin in the Missouri Senate race … Republican Richard Mourdock lost the senate race in Indiana—disaster.
It’s astonishing to think that in America we have a majority of Americans who seemingly can ignore an ever-increasing $16 trillion dollar debt, trillion dollar-plus deficits, no budget, a credit downgrade, high-unemployment rate, the takeover of business by government (fascism), the printing of money in perpetuity (QE3), millions more on food stamps, a depleted military embroiled in endless wars with no strategy, failed green economic initiatives, a disturbing loss of American sovereignty via acquiescence to the United Nations, the nationalization of the healthcare industry, crushing taxes, and veritable assault on the First Amendment itself (cf. Chick-fil-a and Benghazi).
Four years ago, I started blogging in earnest because I was so fed up with the gloating and in-your-face, nasty behavior exhibited by so many on the left and in the liberal main-stream media. Well, I’m sure many on the left are once again gloating and basking in their “victory.” Well, I don’t blame them. I’ve been so fed up with the left and their obnoxiousness antics for years now that I had planned to engage in a bit of in-your-face gloating myself should Romney win the election. So, like a good friend of mine says, “Enjoy it while it lasts!”
