Southerland Reflects Upon National Day of Prayer

SOUTHERLAND REFLECTS UPON NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative Steve Southerland, II issued the following statement today marking the 61st annual observance of the National Day of Prayer:

“The National Day of Prayer provides a valuable reminder of the many blessings that God has bestowed upon our nation.  It is also an opportunity to join together as Americans to ask for God’s protection of our brave service members fighting for our freedoms overseas and His grace in sustaining the less fortunate among us.  As a man who has been fortunate enough to be raised in a family that puts faith first, I continue to rely upon prayer to guide me through the challenges and opportunities that each day brings.”
