Barack Obama considers the Tea Party an enemy. He did not expect the response to his “fundamental transformation of America” that the Tea Party has given him. As effortlessly as he waltzed into office, I am quite sure he thought he was going to sign some papers and–as easy as a trip through the local drive-thru–he would reinvent the Land of the Free into his own selfish liking. Still, he claims not to be an ideologue …
However, what has been seen cannot be unseen and the Tea Party saw enough to know Barack Obama is a bad apple. They have moved into Obama’s vacuities; they are standing between him and his desired goal.
There is a sinister air surrounding Obama’s foreign and domestic policies …
Barack Obama and his preposterous foreign policy, is making it possible for the Muslim Brotherhood et al. to gain a foothold in the Middle East in the guise of “democracy.” This has only given the fanatical Islamo-fascists greater opportunity and control; destroying any hope of these countries becoming secular governments open to the ideal of freedom of choice when it comes to religion. Even the newly liberated Egyptians are beginning to doubt that their elections will be fair and open as the violence there continues to escalate. Now the terrorists are destabilizing many of the anemic governments in Africa where they wish to expand their tyranny further.
Islam is the only “religion” which intends to and requires subjugating all other religions. It is a theocracy and regards women and children as property. Criminal impasses are punishable by torture, maiming, dismemberment and death. It possesses no humility or empathy. This is no religion; it is a theocratic cult of death.
This seems to make no difference to the President’s foreign policy team – a collection of erudite ideologues and a host of inept retreads from the Clinton Administration. Hillary Clinton – Secretary of State, Leon Panetta – Secretary of Defense and known communist sympathizer, Ben Rhodes – White House Deputy National Security Adviser, John Kerry – chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; these people are demonstrable hypocrites with radical left-leaning agendas. Are these people blind to the atrocities of Islam or are they afraid to confront them?
Islam and Sharia are antithetical to our Constitution. Islam cares not for the rights of anyone; only that the individual is subject to its consequences. How the President of the United States of America can ignore this fact is beyond all comprehension. He seems utterly clueless to reality. But more than likely this is all by his sinister design.
He has assembled a foreign-policy team made up entirely of intellectual elitists who manufactured a counter-thesis to the policies of every administration since John F. Kennedy. They contend that we are in a “post-American world,” in which the U.S. is obligated to pursue its interests in cooperation with other world powers.
The poster child for this internationalist view is White House Deputy National Security Advisor, Ben Rhodes, who told a reporter in March of 2011:
“This is the Obama conception of the U.S. role in the world—to work through multilateral organizations and bilateral relationships to make sure that the steps we are taking are amplified.”
The obvious naivety of this perspective is breathtaking and it has not gone unnoticed by other government leaders in the Middle East. Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak told us the Iranians are “sponsors of terrorism.” Mubarak also cautioned the U.S. to be wary of Iranian leaders as negotiating partners, because “they are big, fat liars.” Saudi King Abdullah told a U.S. diplomat: “The bottom line is that they (the Iranians) cannot be trusted.” And Kuwait’s military intelligence chief told U.S. General David Petraeus that Iran was subsidizing extremist groups in Yemen.
In addition, we also now know that Jordanian officials had called for the Iranian nuclear program to be derailed by any means necessary to reduce the threat of their weapons program. Previously officials in the United Arab Emirates and Egypt have referred to the Iranian regime as “evil”–an “existential threat.” Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed of Abu Dhabi warned the U.S. and the world against appeasing the Iranian regime, and went so far as declaring “Ahmadinejad is Hitler.”
King Abdullah frequently demanded the U.S. attack Iran to put an end to its nuclear weapons program. The Saudi ambassador to Washington said that King Abdullah “told you to cut off the head of the snake” in a 2008 meeting between King Abdullah and Petraeus.
North Korea has demonstrated rogue regimes become much more aggressive when they acquire nuclear weapons. Iran will be worse than North Korea if it acquires such weapons. Iran is the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism. It is not trusted by any of its neighbors regardless of their religion or form of government. This impending threat might still be deterred, but the world is quickly running out of time and nothing will be accomplished by naïve wishful thinking about the nature of the Iranian regime.
The final straw in Obama’s Middle-eastern policy debacle is his obvious disdain for Israel and the disrespect he has shown Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We know well the hatred Obama’s former pastor of 20 years–Reverend Wright–has for the Jewish people. I find Obama’s disrespect quite telling.
Are we beginning to connect some dots here?
To complicate matters further, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has recently ordered the Russian military to prepare the capability to “destroy” the command structure of the planned U.S. missile-defense system in Europe.
Medvedev on state television said that Russia is considering stationing strike missiles (including Iskander rockets) in the Kaliningrad exclave between Poland and Lithuania – both members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union. Medvedev said:
“I have ordered the armed forces to develop measures to ensure, if necessary, that we can destroy the command and control systems. These measures are appropriate, effective and low-cost.”
Russia has warned the U.S. plan may provoke a renewed arms race and upset a strategic balance in the region by threatening its nuclear deterrent capability. Stating that the U.S. is ignoring Russia’s concerns about positioning parts of the shield in eastern Europe and is “accelerating” its development. The Russian president went on to say:
“Russia’s political leadership has repeatedly said that unless we resolve the situation Russia will be forced to adopt a military-technical response.”
Dmitry Rogozin, the country’s NATO ambassador, also told reporters in Moscow during comments broadcast on state television, “We can’t afford to barter away our citizens’ security.”
Now why do we put up with this Russian rhetoric? What could Russia find so threatening about the West defending itself? Not against Russia per say, but against the ever-growing reach of the radical Iranian missile program (of which Ahmadinejad has boasted). Ahmadinejad has even stated his desire to “wipe Israel off the map,” and hinted that the Vatican might also be a necessary target. The possible answer is that Russia is selling them the technology and has no love for Israel whatsoever. They would love to profit off of the coming Islamic jihad at our expense.
Ahmadinejad and his axis of terror are attempting to acquire weapons of mass destruction because they understand that such weapons empower them to accomplish their goals. They will not surrender these attempts unless they believe the cost of pursuing them outweighs the colossal leverage gained by acquiring the weapons. Their goal is to oppress other people. They understand that achieving that vision puts them in direct conflict with the Western world and they do not care. Indeed, it is their desire.
“Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be ‘cured’ against one’s will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals. But to be punished, however severely, because we have deserved it, because we ‘ought to have known better,’ is to be treated as a human person made in God’s image.”
— C.S. Lewis
What about Asia?
As if that wasn’t enough to put on one plate, we now have to add in China’s military expansion and upgrades. They are building up their air force and navy with new planes and new ships. The Chinese are a very ambitious people. They are also reaching for space while we have mothballed our own space efforts – another of Obama’s insults to American exceptionalism. Simultaneously, we let the legislature’s ridiculous Super Committee disembowel our own military – also by Obama’s nefarious design.
Obama’s recent trip to the Pacific claimed to be for the purpose of strengthening our economic and security ties with the region. It was probably another excuse to go on vacation as it seems that he accomplished little. The president’s nine-day trip to Hawaii, Australia and Indonesia was denoted by back-to-back summits and high-profile pronouncements, including decisions to station U.S. Marines in northern Australia, advocate a new free-trade area that leaves China out of the mix, but asks that China not complicate the current world order … sending 250 Marines to Australia is not going to deter China from doing a damn thing … besides they are our largest creditor.
“To be prepared for war, is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace.”
— George Washington, First Annual Message, January 8, 1790
Then there is the President’s refusal to enforce current immigration law. We are leaving ourselves wide open for almost anything. Obama seems to enjoy leaving us hamstrung. He has led an assault on state’s sovereignty – filing lawsuits against several states for trying to enforce laws that the federal government has deliberately ignored at his direction. He does not want to solve the problem. Perpetuating the problem provides him another vestige to twist and blame the Republicans for.
“One single object. . . [will merit] the endless gratitude of the society: that of restraining the judges from usurping legislation.”
— Thomas Jefferson, letter to Edward Livingston, March 25, 1825
Finally, his detrimental domestic economic policies … his never ending demands to spend more and tax more are fanatical. He never stops. Taxing “the rich” is the only idea he has. And whatever he may believe their pockets are not bottomless. The markets continue to flounder in the face of uncertainty-most notably “Obamacare,” which is already causing turmoil in the insurance markets as the industry tries to prepare for its deployment in 2014.
“Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.”
— Milton Friedman
“A wise and frugal government … shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.”
— Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1801
Everything Obama does is contradictory to the principles that we have lived by since 1776. He is weakening the United States on purpose. The Tea Party must continue to obstruct Obama’s goal of “fundamental transformation.” The peculiar thing about this is the lack of support for the Tea Party from the RNC. Is the RNC on the take? Do they seek to perpetuate this malaise? Why play the game if you’re not going to make the effort to win?
“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it.”
— Thomas Paine, The American Crisis, No. 4, September 11, 1777
Is Obama trying to provoke a confrontation with the people? He has told the Tea Party that they need to “sit down, shut up and let America be America,” which is as insulting as it is ignorant. What he is really saying is that we need to shut up and let him finish ruining our lives. His endorsement of the Occupy Crowd belies his true ambition.
I think not, Mr. President … I think you need to take a seat and let us show YOU how it’s done! You were supposed to be a servant of the people and you are ruling against our will. You are not “governing” or defending the Constitution. You are ruling by fiat. You would trade something that is not yours for your selfish, perverted, socialist vision of utopia … and that something is our Liberty!
“I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.”
— Thomas Jefferson, Letter to Dr. Benjamin Rush [September 23, 1800]
Hopefully the 2012 elections will come without any interference from the ruling class and we will be allowed to exercise our freedom of choice. If not, Mr. President, you will have to take it from the people by force …
“The tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
— Thomas Jefferson
If you want blood … you got it!
